What can I do if Cirrus Insight disappears from my inbox?

Overview

If Cirrus Insight doesn't automatically load in Gmail, follow the steps below in order to troubleshoot common issues in Chrome.

Steps

1. Confirm that Cirrus Insight is installed and enabled in your Chrome extensions. 

  • A. To access your Chrome extensions, copy the text below, paste it into your browser URL bar, and press enter:
    chrome://extensions/
  • B. If you don't see Cirrus Insight in your extensions, install Cirrus Insight 2019 Chrome extension
  • C.If you do see Cirrus Insight listed but it's not enabled, re-enable
  • D. If you made any changes, close Gmail and re-open it in a new tab.

2. Close the Google products right side panel.

3. Update Chrome if the sidebar still doesn't appear in your inbox.
After updating, close Gmail and re-open it in a new tab.

4. Clear your cache if the issue persists.
After clearing, close Gmail and re-open it in a new tab.

5. Clear your Gmail local storage if the issue persists.
After clearing, close Gmail and re-open it in a new tab.

6. Disable conflicting extensions if the issue persists.
